Join nature photographer and videographer Nicolas Rakotopare and Craig Greer for a wildlife photography tour and workshop in wonderful Sri Lanka, one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet.
Of the 91 mammal species found in Sri Lanka, leopards, Asian Elephants, Sloth Bears, Purple-faced Langurs, Sambar Deer and Water Buffaloes will be highlights. Bird life is the jewel in Sri Lanka’s crown with species such as Sri Lankan Blue Magpie, Sri Lankan Grey Hornbill, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Crested Serpent Eagle, three species of kingfishers, Chestnut-crowned, Blue-tailed and Green Bee-eater, Emerald Dove and more. A vast array of species will fill the memory cards of reptile lovers, including Green Pit-viper, Hump-nosed Lizards, Bark Geckos, Kangaroo Lizards, Green Forest Lizards, Mugger Crocodile and more.

Join Craig and Inala Nature Tours guide Karen Dick for this six-day wildlife photography workshop in Southern Tasmania.
This tour will take you from the state capital of Hobart to the remote wilds of Melaleuca in the South-West National Park to photograph the critically endangered Orange-bellied Parrot, to Eaglehawk Neck on the Tasman Peninsula where you’ll photograph stunning seabirds on a pelagic boat trip, before moving on to Bruny Island where all 12 of the state’s endemic bird species and a number of gorgeous mammals can be seen and photographed.
The workshop is suitable for photographers of all levels. Participants will benefit from both group and one-to-one photography and post-processing tuition from Craig and ecological education from Karen.
This combination will give you an exceptional experience. You will gain a better understanding of nature photography techniques, improved ability to use your own equipment and an immersion in knowledge of the flora and fauna, habitats and landscapes of beautiful Tasmania.
