A migratory Red-necked Stint sits among the samphire as a 2.6 metre tide envelops Port Clinton beach on the Upper Gulf St Vincent in South Australia.

Red-necked Stints breed in Siberia and West Alaska during the northern summer before making their way south via the East-Asian Australasian Flyway.
