fine art prints
When you buy a print from me you're getting a product of the highest quality.
All photos are printed on exhibition quality, acid-free, triple-resin photographic paper with an archival nature. This makes it perfect for displaying spectacular colours and the brightest whites, while the Lucia inks ensure the deepest of blacks.
My printing and framing is carried out by Adelaide’s first choice for professional photographers, Blackman Gallery.
NOTE: PRICES FOR FRAMED PRINTS INCLUDE SHIPPING AND HANDLING WITHIN AUSTRALIA. PRINT ONLY PRICES INCLUDE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING.

AURORA BAY
On May 11, 2024 a strong geomagnetic storm led to a stunning light show visible to the naked eye in many parts of Australia. Having recently moved to southern Tasmania, I found myself in an enviable position to capture this incredible natural event, which some say is the strongest aurora seen for a century. This is my record of that magical night when a kaleidoscope of colour danced across the sky.
SCARLET FEVER
In February 2023 I flushed a single female and two juvenile Scarlet-chested Parrots from a track in Gluepot Reserve near Waikerie in South Australia. Come early May 2023, between 70 and 100 Scarlet-chested Parrots in numerous flocks were observed feeding on new growth in a small area of mallee in the same area. Numbers like this haven’t been recorded in South Australia, or anywhere in Australia for decades. This image depicting a male bird was captured soon after the flocks were located together and birders began descending on the area from all over Australia, and as far away as New Zealand.

SPLENDIDA
A male scarlet-chested parrot perches on a thin bare tree in South Australia's mallee. This bird was photographed at the height of a species irruption which took place at Gluepot Reserve in May 2023.
THE BEACHCOMBER
A Red-capped Plover chick, just a few days old, sets out searching for food at an Adelaide metropolitan beach.
THE DIP
A Grey-headed Flying-fox belly-dips in Adelaide’s Torrens River to cool down during a deadly heatwave.
THE Lovers
A pair of Australasian Gannets engaging in “bill fencing” at a breeding site in Victoria, Australia
THE Regent
The Regent Bowerbird is an iconic Australian species that calls the tropical rainforests of SE Queensland home. This photo was shortlisted in the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year portrait section and used to promote the exhibition across the country.
Little Red
A migratory Red-necked Stint sits among the samphire as a 2.6 metre tide envelops Port Clinton beach on the Upper Gulf St Vincent in South Australia.
Red-necked Stints breed in Siberia and West Alaska during the northern summer before making their way south via the East-Asian Australasian Flyway.
the SHOWER
A Pied Currawong enjoys a heavy shower on a very wet day in Lamington National Park, SE Queensland.
the Hoodie
Due to predation by foxes, cats, gulls, and attacks from dogs on beaches, the Hooded Plover is one of our most endangered beach-nesting bird species. So I was especially happy when I found this chick feeding with its watchful parent close by in the shallows of Moonta Bay on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula.
the Dusky
Dusky Woodswallows are a fairly common species across Australia’s south-east. This bird was part of a small flock hawking for insects late one afternoon in South Australia’s mid north.
The Miner
This Noisy Miner image was taken in Adelaide’s Botanic Park one afternoon as I was filming the local colony of Grey-headed Flying-foxes. To me the image speaks to the impact of this very well adapted and thriving species which some argue is having a negative impact on bird diversity in urban areas. This is certainly the case in the Adelaide metro area where they have aggressively forced smaller birds out.
THE Chimp
This is Totsie, the alpha male chimpanzee at Adelaide’s Monarto Zoo. I photographed Totsie back in 2016 soon after getting my first prime wildlife lens and it’s still one of my favourite images.
THE THORNBILL
A Brown Thornbill perches on some gorse bush in the north of Tasmania in September 2022. This image is printed on exhibition grade lustre paper and presented either on its own or professionally framed using quality, lightweight wood. I
the FOG
An Australasian Grebe navigates the largest pond in early morning winter fog at Laratinga Wetland in South Australia.
THE STARE
The Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal on Earth, and the most widespread of all birds of prey. This adult female raised multiple broods on my friend’s property in the Barossa Valley and over time became used to my presence. Despite this, she is certainly staring me down as I captured this portrait one morning in 2016.
